In Austria like in other European countries, informal caregivers deliver about 80% of the needed care services. Today we count almost one million persons in Austria who care for their relatives – and thus keep our care system stable.
Innovation Network
The “innovation network to support informal caregivers” joined forces to develop digital solutions to relieve and support the large yet diverse group of informal caregivers. The goal is to strengthen the recognition of caregiver’s burdens and the enormous value of their work as well as to increase the visibility of this often-overlooked contribution to the whole society.
